This is one of the good things MSFS changed from fs2002 to fs2004, the ability to make a plan for a lower (around 29000-31000 ft for ex. The payware (certainly LevelD) are fairly accurate in performance but the freeware packages are less accurate (too much drag or not enough trust, etc.) although the latest 767 from POSKY is pretty decent as far as I can say.Īnyway in real life most airliners have to use step climb anyway (certain altitude for certain weights) and having to stop around 30.000ft for initial climb seems about right.
