My wireless adapter is a LinkSys WMP54G v4.1 PCI card.įrom the command "lspci -v" i learned the chipset information as follows:Ġ2:00.0 Network controller: RaLink RT2561/RT61 802.11g PCIįlags: bus master, slow devsel, latency 64, IRQ 16 Here are my general questions:ġ) Should hardware drivers be included in a repository? Or, can they be installed separately without much risk? I found a driver that may be the correct one. I am having difficulty getting my wireless card to work (on CentOS v5.3 x86_64).
